Dear musicians, Since the beginning of music history there have been some instruments which became a legend because of their specific, and most fascinating sounds. Once again they're become popular, but many are no longer available. One of those most interesting and famous legends is the Hammond B-3, the various sounds of which have been recorded on this sampling CD. We have been dealing with all possibilities of sounds and usings, as the Hammond organ is of great importance in today's music. One main part of this CD includes the most important registrations of my three Hammond organs, recorded halfstep by halfstep, in highest sample quality. As you know, each one of the old Hammonds sounds different and you'll get the most natural sounding result by sampling every halfstep tone. Being totally fascinated we really checked all kinds of sounds and recorded nearly every acoustic event. This CD also offers you more than 350 typical and unusual licks and riffs on the Hammond. I haven't kept anything under cover, to provide you access to all my typical riffs as well as those never played before. I'm sure that everyone will be able to find something useful whether for the Jazz, Pop, Funk, Reggae, Rock or Techno style. The enclosed midi-file disc contains some of my compositions in MIDI standard file format, recorded with my midified B-3, incl. drums and organ-solis. You may assign your own sounds to the MIDI-tracks or mute an instrument to play it yourself for jam sessions and/or practising. This CD is an exclusive and unique affair because it presents my playing technique and music, for direct use and analysis, for the first time in my life.
