RADS Volume 3 Multi-Track HiHats And Rides contains four independent instrument tracks (sound files): two overhead tracks and a stereo pair of room tracks. Four different ride cymbals and two different hihats were used during the recording session to offer a large selection of sounds. The ride cymbals remain constant at two measures a loop, while the hihat performances vary in length. Each hihat loop starts at a soft dynamic and continues for several measures to its loudest. This works exceptionally well for choosing a desired performance dynamics without having to audition dozens of different loops.
